Hello there! Welcome to my webpage. My name’s Jahan, and I’m a photographer out of Portsmouth, Virginia. I’ve been picking up a camera and shooting since I was 12, and I've always loved documenting my day to day life and the things happening around me. Documentary work has led me to a love of street photography, the seemingly mundane banality of everyday life grows evermore intriguing to me when trying to capture it through my own personal point of view.

Photography for me is more than just an art form, its a way of life and expression. Photography and I have grown up together and have learned so much about the world. It’s helped me to submerge into other peoples way of life, which in turn gives me an air of understanding for perspective.

Understanding other peoples perspective directly correlates into a strong bond and connection with my clients, which leaves them pleased with my work and satisfied with the final product. When working for a client I am driven by their satisfaction which is backed by my sound creative expertise. I want for my clients to trust me and care for the art just as I do, this is why I keep an open door policy and an open mind toward not just my own but their creative vision.
